A new year rolls inexorably towards us. Always at this time of year come the "New Years Resolutions" things we have resolved to do, for ourselves mostly, to better our lives in some perceivable way. Most people lose track of them by mid January, going back to however they lived before without even a second thought towards remembering what they planned to do to make their lives better.

I stopped making new years resolutions. If I can think of some way to better my life than I really want to work on, I'll do it right then. No point in waiting until the calendar rolls around. I don't have to suddenly remember in April that I was going to turn things around this year and oh.. whatever happened to those new years resolutions I was going to keep? I figure, I'll treat every day like new years eve.. every minute that goes by is an opportunity to change your life, your habits, anything and everything. Don't wait until the little box on the calendar shows the year is ending to start thinking of ways to make things better. Do it every day..
